Happy 4th

First, I thought this was funny. Just after I read a very nice comment from Kengo about our children being well adjusted, they came running into my office clucking like chickens and looking like this:

The timing was impeccable (if you can't tell, those are surgical gloves on their heads). Care to make a reassessment, Kengo? :-)

Anyway, I hope you all have a happy and patriotic 4th of July.

May your barbecues be heavy with meat, your soda pop glacier cold, and your potato salad free of flies. And, please, try not to set any of our great nation ablaze tonight. (Particularly those of you in California. Many more fires there, and you just know Pat Robertson will start blaming us.)

I think Rob looks the funniest in that picture.

I now have a funny 4th of July story to share. In the store where I work, under the display of berries there is a big sign which reads
"4th of July" in big letters with a firework graphic behind it. Underneath, it reads "July 4, 2008", as if it might have been July, 5 or something, and they wanted us to know that the "Fourth of July" is indeed on July 4.

Indeed it is.

Nope...they seem like average well adjusted little boys!

Now...if they started wearing their mother's shoes (as Ginta does whenever we start out the door somewhere...) I might be worried. ;)

It's the "grown man" thing.

"as if it might have been July, 5 or something"

Funny, borat did a bit like that, but he was joking.

Kengo "if they started wearing their mother's shoes"

Well we don't have any such shoes in the home so I don't know if they would do that:-)

Did they get the rubber gloves on head thing from Wallace and Grommit? The one with the evil penguin, I mean?

I love the evil penguin. For some reason the boys aren't much into Wallace and Grommit, though. I've tried.

Nope, I'm afraid tit was all Rob's idea.
