Funny Money

I just posted on a questionnaire I got from BYU about the LDS church at isocrat, here. They gave me a dollar to fill it out. But look how odd:
The ink on the dollar bled onto the letter. I've never seen that before. Now, this is certainly not concrete proof, but I fear BYU may be printing one dollar bills deep below the Cougar Eat ;-).

If only I drank coffee, I'd use it to buy a cup.

See, really what's going on is they used counterfeit bills to fund Prop 8, so it turns out they didn't really donate money at all. Clever of them, isn't it?

You don't drink coffee? WHAT?

Oh no, BYU's evil counterfeiting plot has been revealed. Do I have to pay taxes if I was payed with counterfeit money the entire year long?

Ben "Clever of them, isn't it?"

It is. Lets see... each bill is about a gram... we only have proof of printing one dollar bills... [reckless calculation] that's over 40 tons of money to pay for every bit of Prop 8, which is what all gay people think they did, of course (Is 40 tons enough to justify anyone being upset? ;-)).

Craig: "You don't drink coffee? WHAT?"

If I wanted a hot bitter drink, I'd not need to break the word of wisdom. I'd just sip from a leaking rusty water heater.

(Now, if in ice cream form, I'll consider it :-))

Kevin: "Do I have to pay taxes if I was payed with counterfeit money the entire year long?"

Just launder it to keep from getting caught, but not on hot; apparently the ink still has some kinks to work out.

Gee, I wish I'd been able to pay BYU tuition, tithing, etc. with funny money, too.

I'm with you, Scot, on the coffee thing. Nasty stuff, but add enough sugar, almonds, or fudge in ice cream, that's another thing entirely.

"I'm with you, Scot, on the coffee thing."

Now if we could only convince my Rob, and I wouldn't have to find it on my shopping list.

Well thank GOD that at least Rob knows the wondrous pleasures of coffee.

Guess what? I just got the same survey and "small token of appreciation".

I think I'm going to use mine to by booze - well part of a bottle anyways.

I hope you told them what you think, Craig, but am pretty sure you did :-).

It was good seeing you last night.
