For all those many of you on the edge of your seat regarding my revenge-fueled battle with the coyote ;-): It’s the second snow on the ground overnight of the year and no tracks. I walked back there this morning, only to find a wayward set from a deer.
I don’t know, it just seemed like a sequel was in order… Like “The Son of the Murderous Coyote” or “Coyote II, This Time It’s Instinctual”…
Gee, I hope I’m not now fixated on them :-), but the kids still worry about it, bring it up, and that puts me on guards I guess.

As a parent I know how you feel with regards to the safety of one children.
In one of the places I grew up we had problems with cougars. I was a teen at that point so my thoughtlessness was well into being but I am sure that my parents were equally concerned as you are now.
On a lighter note - Have you ever thought of creating title for movies? The whole "Coyote II, This Time It's Instinctual" is quite provocative. :-)
